What a way to kick off the season as the Patriots visit the Seahawks. Both teams have had some changes (some may argue for the better but also for the worse). While both teams are expected to have fireworks this season, I am taking this game to go under the 44.5 Points Total. In our new, fresh sims, we have this game staying under 44 points (-1.7 points). Looking across the industry and where the money is flowing, many are expecting the same.

This should be a fun one as the Los Angeles Rams added Myles Garrett via trade and Aaron Donald came out of retirement (for one last hooray). The San Francisco 49ers confirmed Nick Bosa will play, and George Kittle (plus Mike Evans) will also play. The 49ers will have been in Australia for one whole week when this game kicks off, while the Rams are expected to arrive 24 hours beforehand. In the last five matchups, these two teams have scored enough to hit the over four out of five times. We can expect an absolute banger once again, and that’s what I’m riding with.

I have high expectations for Jalen Hurts this year (which I have never said before). Our player projections have Hurts at 24 completions, 35 attempts, & 240 passing yards.

Patrick Mahomes should be good to go for Week 1, and while returning from his injury, I expect Travis Kelce to be a good safety blanket for him. We have Kelce at 4.4 receptions and 51 receiving yards. I also agree with Justin’s bold prediction that Kelce will have a Last Dance Final Year this season.

I am lowering the unit size slightly because Kyle Shanahan typically hates rookies and allows them to be great. However, Stribling looked phenomenal in pre-season, and Brock Purdy truly loves the rookie. 49ers could use him in multiple spots if Evans is limited, but I do think with Kittle returning, they will use Stribling a little more to keep Kittle safe.
